The 6' Serial Data cable and USB to Serial adapter combo is used with GEN-2 ThunderMax EFI Modules. Most of today's computers no longer have a serial data port to plug the serial cable into. The data cable plugs into the USB adapter and allows for connections to modern computers via usb port.
